Riding the rails, hitting the pavement, scooting, bobbing up and down on the bus or getting behind the wheel – we all have preferences when it comes to modes of transport, but do you have a type?

Should I grab the keys and take the car? Maybe I’ll catch the bus or drive to the train station. What about hiring a scooter when I arrive in the city? For me, these are daily questions I ask myself as I leave the house.

I share a car with my partner so sometimes I rely on other modes of transport to get around. Overall, many South Australians are fond of driving their car to work.

Only half had taken public transport in the year before the survey, and one in 10 had ridden a bike during that time frame.
