Celebrating RAA’s most loyal members
Fred Bonser joined RAA in 1949. At the time, the club was less than 50 years old and had just reached a milestone of having 50,000 members.
Now, 70 years later, Fred is still an RAA member, along with another 740,000 South Australians.

While I had my wife’s car, the battery conked out and the RAA switched it over.I’ve also called RAA a few times because I’ve locked my keys in my car.” Gold 50 events, which have been held across the state in metropolitan locations and regional centres for the past 6 years, provide RAA an opportunity to honour its most loyal members. The events include tailored RAA Gold 50 presentations, providing information on road safety and RAA’s history. They also allow members to find out more about the products and services that come with their RAA membership.
